Housekeeping

Ok, so my life is a bit crazy, busy at the moment and scrapping has taken a BIG back seat the last week.
Not happy Jan!

BUT, I have bought myself a Nikon D3100 SLR. So so so so so so so so so so so so so so so excited. I have had a little play but cannot wait to read the book (which as you can imagine is just ridiculously long) to learn a bit more. I am hoping to do a few photography lessons too.
If you have one of these cameras or similar or any thing else and can share a tip, I would be reeeaaaallllyyyy appreciative.

Also, I won a prize for my entry for October's KIU. Very excited. I was on a 'No Spend' until I had used up some of my stash but oh well, Handmade by Suzanne, here I come....

The doorbell rang this afternoon and there was a man delivering my prize from Min and Flis. Thank you so so much girls. I can't wait to use these goodies.

It was my DS 9th Birthday on Sunday. He is my biggest boy and I just cannot believe he is 9 already.
Happy Birthday W.

We are off to Queensland on Thursday so I wont be posting until after 23rd November but I will still be stalking you while I am away.....
I have bits and pieces here and there to pack but nothing has reached the suitcase yet.
It is so not like me. I would have normally packed 3 weeks ago. And how sad is this, I have been trying to pack to co-ordinate clothes for everyone for the all important photos. Now admit it, you would do the same thing wouldn't you??
BUT, I cannot wait for some sun, sand and surf.

So now to scrapping.

This is my take on this month's Challenge Heaven's sketch.
I wanted to scrap something about our house that we just moved from. I didn't really use journalling but I think my title says it all.
This is the house where I had my 21st, came home to after I was married, bought 4 children home to and have so many happy memories in. But it was a bit small and we had to move on.

(I knew the paddle pop sticks would come in handy one day)

And this one is for The Color Room palette 31:

So thanks for checking in.
Don't miss me too much while I am away.
