Hello peeps.
It is a lovely Autumn day in Melbourne. Although there is a slight chill in the air, the sun is out and it's just one of those days that makes you feel happy.....
Popping in to share our next case at CSI which is this:
I started by looking for pics of the kids on their bikes but came across some of my darling husband and his sister....
When I saw these pics I immediately saw my oldest DS doing this to his brothers everyday.....like every every day.
He is very jealous of his twin brothers which I understand but he does not realise that he is fortunate enough to have two playmates who absolutely idolise him and would do anything for him....
We are hoping that one day he will realise what he has right in front of him rather than making every day a "challenging" day for us and them with his jealousy, insecurities and selfishness.
My scheme is in my colours.
My evidence is in the doilies, the stamps and the kraft background.
My testimony is using a tweet as my journaling.
Have a fabulous day.

Scrapfriends Colour Challenge #13
Hello hello.
We have returned from our little adventure to Tasmania.
Amazing, beautiful, relaxing and so much fun. Hubby and I decided that when we grow up we are going to retire in Tasmania in the countryside. So if you are looking for us in about 20 years, that's where you will find us.
But, I've just stopped in to share some scrappy stuff.
Scrapfriends has a new colour combo for you this month. One that I would never piece together willingly but I found it all came together a lot easier than I expected. I don't usually use burgundy/maroon so I just used a hint and it worked ok.
And my page:
Thanks for stopping by.

One more sleep....
until we are off to Tasmania for a mini holiday. I cannot wait to see the beautiful scenery and history Tassie has to offer.
I want to apologise for not visiting you lately. It has been a crazy week and I have officially ran out of time to sit and relax and catch up with my scrappy world.
I have just popped in so I can share a page for the new case file at CSI this week. You will not be short of inspiration if you go here to see what the team has created.
I find using green and pink together really hard. It is really pretty together but I don't really create "pretty pretty" so I funked it up a bit (....did you have to just re-read that....lol).
My scheme is in my colours.
My evidence is in the flowers, paint and circles.
My testimony is in my journaling strips.
I made some ribbons like the ones on my daughter's handlebars with some gift wrap ribbon. Love the way they turned out.
I used some craft wire to create my title "Ride" (which was so so fiddly but something I had always wanted to try).
And a "pretty" pink glittery bike.
Happy National Scrapbooking Day.
Hope you are scrapping up a storm.

Scrapfriends Sketch Challenge #13 - May
So, ignore the photo cause I really don't like it (and I didn't get one decent photo from the whole day so this was the best of a bad bunch) but I always wanted to scrap it with COLOUR so I think I achieved that (oh yeh, and the girl behind me....lol)
You must go and see the DTs unbelievable pages here. It amazes me how we can all interpret a sketch so differently.
And this is the sketch.
And remember, if you are looking for some new supplies, you know, the ones you reallllllly reallllllly need, head to the Scrapfriend's Store because there is so much there to choose from.

CSI #69
Happy Monday to you.
Another exciting case to solve this week at CSI
I created this page about DS1. He had come home from school with his Grade 6 "Class of 2013" t-shirt that they have made up for their last year of Primary School. It suddenly hit home that this little boy is in his final year. I tried to be excited for him as he was so proud of the t-shirt but inside it was really hurting knowing that we are nearly finished another chapter of his life.
My scheme is in the colours.
My evidence is in the flowers, circles, metal, stripes, and doodling.
My testimony is in the circular spot.

Another Inspirational Sketch from Scrapfriends
If you need another sketch to finish of your scrappy month, then this one is for you from Scrapfriends.
And I had the perfect paper to use which I have wanted to create with for a long time.
So nice and short and sweet. Going to go and pour myself a wine and "get my scrap on".

3 days to go.....
until I turn 40.
So as a "tribute" I created this page for CSI's case file this week which is:
I don't like to make a big fuss for my Birthday but as the day gets closer, I always get a little excited. I'm not having a big party, just a small celebration with family and as it is also my nephew's Birthday, we will celebrate together. So instead of having a party, I am taking my hubby and kids off on a little holiday to Tasmania next month which I am really looking forward to. We are traveling over by boat and the kids keep saying we are going on a cruise....lol.
Well I hope you can join in this week at CSI. There is a new amazing Design Team and I am sure they can inspire you too.

YummyScrap #12 - Scrapfriends Colour Palette Challenge Apr 2013
Good day to you, whatever you may be doing.
I am getting sidetracked again from the things I should be doing....lol....but that's ok.
Scrapfriends has another wonderful colour palette for April. It's so fresh and "happy".
And this is what I created with it
I had so much fun with the mask and inks that it was a bit hard to stop. I kept the title/journaling very simple this time as I really wanted to focus on the pic itself of DD singing Hey Diddle Diddle to me.
Ok, back to it....bye.
